What your tractor needs
As well as the 3-point linkage, you'll need two hydraulic outlets: the bucket comes with two hoses on standard 1/2" agricultural quick couplings. Check your tractor handbook for how many outlets you have.
Hydraulic or manual tip
Hydraulic tip is more convenient and lets you control the dump; manual tip costs less and needs no connections. If you only tip a few times a day, manual tip will do.
Working safely
Drive slowly with a full bucket raised. On slopes keep the bucket low, and on small tractors a heavy load on the back calls for front weights.
Frequently asked questions
What hydraulic connections do I need?
Two hydraulic outlets on the tractor: the bucket has two hoses on standard 1/2" agricultural quick couplings.
Can I dig with it?
In loose soil, turf, gravel and snow, yes. On hard ground you'll need a heavy tractor, ballast and four-wheel drive.
What's the difference from a link box?
The bucket scoops and levels; a link box has higher sides and is mainly for carrying.
What horsepower do I need?
It's shown on every listing, along with the linkage category and lower link spacing.
